Celebrating Easter in Myrtle Beach

What will you do for this Easter Holiday? Stay at home? Going out with your family for some descent dinner? Or having your annual Easter tradition with your family? If you are going to have an Easter egg hunting for your Easter celebration, then I can give you a great idea on how to do it differently this time.

Instead of having your Easter egg hunting around your house or on your house yard, try to consider going to a Myrtle Beach resort and doing it there. Myrtle Beach is always a favorite spot for people to have their days off and the natural view it has never been disappointing so far. The sunset scenery and the blue water give something that the city people miss in their daily life. The Myrtle Beach Resorts are always the best resorts available and proved to have satisfied all of their customers. Move your Easter joy from the back of your house to the beautiful sea of sands of Myrtle Beach. With the fast area of white sands, you and your children get more than enough space to hide the eggs.

Sport Matches and Fans

Are you a fan of a sport club? If yes, what is the craziest thing you have ever done as a fan? There are several types of fans considered from their level of loyalty to their clubs. Some may just be satisfied watching their favorite ice hockey team playing in the television live even though they will never miss a single match. Some go far with attending every home match and go wild in a victory party when the team wins. Some are fanatics enough to watch every match of their favorite team, home and away, even if that means that they must leave their job to travel to other cities. However, there is one thing for sure when it comes to those fans; they will never forget the club’s merchandise from the smallest and trivial one like pens to the big ones like jerseys.

The truth is, professional sport matches are already no more different to the entertainment world. They are all celebrities with their own fans who are just as the same loyal and crazy to a certain degree. Sport matches are no different than a concert of a famous rock or pop band. The atmosphere is as tense and as exciting, only you have one more thing to add in the sport game, the excitement of the game itself.

Bridges, Bullock deserving of Oscar awards

An article by Robert Rich, a senior journalism major at University of Texas, Austin. He can be reach via email at robert.rich@mail.utexas.edu.

PALESTINE — Last Sunday was Oscar night, and I watched the horrendously long (three and a half hours for just the ceremony) event with my roommate while sipping on cran-cherry juice and eating a Jell-O™ pudding pack. After the awkward moments, the painfully bad jokes (looking at you Tyler Perry) and the over-the-top, uber-expensive nature of the show, I have come to two conclusions.

1. For the love of everything that is good and holy, make the ceremony shorter. It truly was an excruciating experience to sit through at times, as the events seemed to drag on and on forever. Be it because of unnecessary montages, presenters that dragged on too long, or winners performing acceptance speeches the length of “War and Peace,” it was simply too long. Add to that the fact that the event went 30 minutes over its scheduled run time anyway, and it was a good time to start pulling your hair out.

Movie Review: Alice in the Wonderland 2010

Now 19 year old, Alice Kingsley is on her engagement party. There is only one small missing detail; she does not know that it is her engagement party. Hamish, a son of a Lord and Lady, will propose to her under the garden gazebo, but somehow Alice is more interested in chasing a rabbit with clock and falls to the same hole she fell into 10 years ago to Underland. From this, she starts to re-experience her journey in Wonderland, the name of the land in her mind, all over again. Only this time, she has to fulfill the prophecy to kill the mighty evil Jabberswocky to end the reign of Red Queen.

Underland (or Wonderland) is portrayed just like Tim Burton portrays imaginary lands in his movies. The characters are played and dubbed by great actors like Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Anne Hathaway, and Crispin Glover. Even though Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter is the most eccentric and wacky character in this film, just like all Depp’s characters always are, it is without a doubt that Helena Bonham Carter steals the show. Her Red Queen with the infamous “Off with the head!” screaming is the one which keeps the story going.

Excellent TV Shows for You

Some of us prefer to spend some times at home during the weekends. For some of us, that would be the ultimate way to give us some excellent rests after the whole week working sessions. Actually, we did that also because we saw the other benefit of staying at home. We didn’t have to spend some money such as we should spend if we went out somewhere. So, if we stayed at home, the TV would be the main entertainment media that we could use for the home entertainment.

There are many kinds of TV shows that could give us some excellent entertainments at home. We would be able to see some TV series, from the drama series, comedy, or even thrillers. We could also see some reality shows in the TV. Some others might prefer to watch the live sport shows. Each of the TV viewers has their own preferences. The most important thing is, they would have some chances to watch some excellent TV shows in the TV.

The Development of Disney World

Some of us were grown in the Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse’s era. Those two characters are the legend in the kids’ world in that moment. In that time, we still didn’t hear anything about SpongeBob, Doraemon, and many other new cartoon characters. Somehow, after several decades, those characters are still existing and somehow, their existences even getting stronger. For kids, even today’s kids, the Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy Duck, Pluto and many others are still interesting enough for them.

The image of the Disney’s characters would always be eternal, especially for the classic Disney lovers. Visiting the Disneyland would give us some sorts of excellent feelings. We would not only have some fun. We would get something more than just some fun. Somehow, even though those characters are eternal, the Disney still should move on and try to create some new characters that represent the characters of today’s kids.

They have decided to create some new movies such as the phenomenal Simba of the Lion King. They also invented the fish character in Nemo. That would be something that even Walt Disney himself has never ever imagined before. If he could see us, perhaps he would be smiling to see that his efforts would last longer than he ever expected. It’s even last longer than his life, and it really is his greatest legacy.

Die Hard 5 to Come Next Year

Are you a Die Hard fan? Well, get ready. The 54-year-old Die Hard main star, Bruce Willis, just confirmed that he will star the fifth sequel in 2011. He has been in this franchise since 1988 from the first Die Hard movie.

The trend of old actors pick up their old role has been recurring in Hollywood these days. Before this, Harrison Ford has done it in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and so has Sylvester Stallone with his “Rambo 4”. Both of the actors were over 60 when they shot the film, so Bruce definitely has almost a decade ahead them in this sequel.

Personally, Willis wants Len Wiseman, the director who directed the fourth sequel Live Free or Die Hard in 2007, to come back in this fifth sequel. “I would hire Len Wiseman right now,” he said. “It’s gotta go worldwide, is the only thing I would say and would be my contribution to it.”

Bruce also remarked that the genre he likes the most to produce is comedy. “I like so much more making fun of it, taking the piss out of it, not making it a big deal and not making the fact that I’ve acted in a lot of movies a big deal.”
